ABOUT THE PRODUCER Hacienda Barbara is managed by Hunter Tedman (who also owns the world-renowned Black Moon coffee farm in Panama) and Linda Arauz, and the farm is owned by the Rogers Family Company, who also own San Francisco Bay Coffee, a large roasting company in northern California. Hacienda Barbara had been producing award winning coffees for 20 years, and show no signs of letting up any time soon
There are three farms under the Hacienda Barbara name: Jaramillo, La Huaca, and Las Brujas. Jaramillo grows most of their award winning Geshas and Catuais, and this offering lives up to the hype. It's one of the most fragrant and sweet Catuais we've ever had! With an initial aroma of fresh fig, the palate is hit with a peachy lemonade sweetness, amaretto aroma as it cools, and a crisp orange zest acidity throughout!
